OWNER / BROKER – Jason Sunahara

Jason is a 4th generation native of Colorado and a 2nd generation insurance agent. He knows the terms and conditions and many worries that you may have with your insurance. Being in the insurance industry for over 30 years and an agent since 1998 when he established his agency, he has seen almost every issue you could have and works with you to help make sure it’s covered correctly.
Jason hopes this website can help shed some light on our industry to those who matter most – you, the insured! Jason is a native of Colorado, raised right here in Denver. Being married and having two children keeps him busy. He has owned this agency in Greenwood Village since May of 1998. He enjoys doing this with a great passion. He loves meeting new clients and working with existing ones to solve issues and make their insurance experience a good one. Jason graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BS in Business Marketing and Small Business Management with a minor in Information Technology.
In his free time, Jason is an Assistant Scout Master in Troop 794, where he is able to share his Eagle Rank with fellow scouters. He has also helped and a founder of Ben Franklin Academy, a Pre-K to the 8th-grade charter school in Douglas County. When he is not working or helping at the school he loves to spend time with his two children, fly fish, and playing golf.
AGENCY PRODUCER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE – Michael Speer
Mike joined our agency in January 2024 and specializes in person lines. He has over seven years of experience with another brokerage and is very familiar with all our carriers. Mike handles all of the renewals, checking to make sure the rates and programs are still what you need. mike@insuresme.net
AGENCY PRODUCER AND CUSTOMER SERVICE – Jamie Daniels
Jamie joined our team in October 2023 and has been a great help and relief to the office. Jamie is licensed in property and casualty and can handle most issues. She has worked at State Farm for many years and has a knack for insurance. She helps take care of day-to-day business. Jamie mainly handles renewals, billing, certificates of insurance, and day-to-day operations. jamie@insuresme.net
